Abstract

The process of reporting data on population development at the Kebasen Village Hall is still being carried out using Microsoft Excel and is not effective. In addition, population reports can only be accessed via a computer at the Kebasen Village Hall. This results in the information being produced takes a long time and results in slow decision making. Therefore, in order to solve this problem the researcher designed a website-based village report executive information system using the waterfall method. The waterfall method is used because it can start from the system requirements phase and move through the analysis, design, testing, and maintenance phases. The developed system is tested using Black Box testing, because Black Box testing can find faulty functions or execution errors, and other errors that cause inappropriate functional results. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to assist the village head (as the executive) in making decisions. In addition, the addition of a diagram feature to the executive report can also assist the village head in summarizing local residents' reports. So that from the results of executive information system design obtained some functionality that can meet the needs. This information system has been functionally tested, the results show that of the 123 types of function tests, all of them get a Black Box Testing value of 100%. This means that the design of a website-based village report executive information system is going well and as desired.
