In an open-access model, the publication costs of an article are paid from an author's research budget, or by their supporting institution, in the form of Article Processing Charges. These Article Processing Charges replace subscription charges and allow publishers to make the full text of every published article freely available to all interested readers.

Starting from volume 5, no 2, July 2023, Jurnal JTECE charges a published paper as shown below.

The cost paid by Author is Rp 500,000 (IDR)

This cost covers the following:

1. The standard ten (10) pages manuscript. An Extra Rp 50,000 (IDR) will be charged for every additional page.
2. Similarity Scoring by Turnitin. The final result will be sent to the authors.
3. DOI registration for each paper.
4. This cost also includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining, and archiving and allows immediate access to the full-text versions of the articles.
