This journal is an open-access journal managed by the Faculty of Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering and published by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM), Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto, Indonesia. We have been accredited by The Indonesian Ministry of Education by Sinta 3. You can download the certificate here.

This open-access journal provides free access to the full text of all published articles without charging readers or their institutions for access. Readers have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in JTECE. This journal provides immediate access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Focus and Scope

JTECE is published twice a year, in January and July. The scopes and focus of the research areas are:

  • Telecommunication: Modulation and Signal Processing, Information Theory and Coding, Antenna and Wave Propagation, Wireless and Mobile Communication, Radio Communication, Satellite Communication, Fiber Optic, Telecommunication Network, and System, RADAR.

  • Electronic: Microelectronic Systems, VLSI Design, Biomedical Instrument, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Communication Electronic, Optoelectronic, Internet of Things, Adaptive Systems, System Identification.

  • Control: Analog and Digital Control, Intelligent control, Programmable Logic Control (PLC), Control Theory and Applications, and Process Control.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. It permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

 

Peer Review Process

Every article that goes to the editor will be selected in advance on the scope and feasibility of the editorial board. We will ask authors to pre-review revisions if needed. Then, the reports will be sent to peer reviewers and reviewed blindly (double-blind peer review). Reviewers are unaware of the authors' identity, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers. Therefore, every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two peer reviewers. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors for revision. The review will consider novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references.

 

Article Processing Charge

Starting from volume 5, no 2, July 2023, Jurnal JTECE charges a published paper as shown below.

The cost paid by the Author is Rp 500,000 (IDR)

This cost covers the following:

1. The standard ten (10) pages manuscript. An Extra Rp 50,000 (IDR) will be charged for every additional page.
2. Similarity Scoring by Turnitin. The final result will be sent to the authors.
3. DOI registration for each paper.
4. This cost also includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining, and archiving and allows immediate access to the full-text versions of the articles.

 

Reference Management

Every article submitted to Jurnal JTECE shall use a reference manager such as Mendeley or Zootero.
Each article should refer to at least 15 references. 

 

Similarity Checking

Before the editorial assignment, the similarity score for each article is measured by Turnitin. The score should be less than 25% to be processed further.
